Reenactment

A gun emplacement located at
the beginning of the park where
reenactors give a brief history of
the siege at Vicksburg before firing
the canon.

The lady in blue is a park ranger.

Some of the reenactors
are only in their teens.

The young man is explaining
the steps for firing of the gun.

The canon is fired twice

daily at 10:30 AM and at 1:30 PM.
